[hat by teahouse vacation, adinkra necklace gifted from my aunties in Ghana, sunglasses by allegedly by versace (got them for free because i found them covered in dust inside an old light fixture LOL) earrings from some Korean accessories store i wandered inro in Harajuku—i can never remember the name, wrap top from american apparel (rip) and dyed with indigo by my talented ass, shorts by rare souls (copped @ BAMS Fest), old navy socks, and nike AF1s]

not my usual kind of fit but when i saw these shorts at BAMS Fest, it was like they called out to me and said that we had to be in each other's life lmaooo. the color is perfect and i'm a sucker for a name with a delicious ring to it—"rare souls" is so yummy! the feel of the embroidery is so satisfying too. the shorts are paired with an american apparel wrap top i have had forever that i used to practice indigo dying during my time as a fiber major. it is one of my favorite tops. this is one of those outfits that put itself together with clean ease.
