when i was a young blogger, i loved to come up with series. recently, an idea for a few popped into my head. the first one is "who wants to buy me?" which will feature garments and accessories i'm yearning for made by independent designers. i love seeing what independent designers are up to, so this is my ode to them. i don't know when i first encountered nomijoon's designs but ever since that fateful day, they haven't left mind. for at least a couple of years now, i've seen their yummy experiments that give textile waste new life. personally, i think humans have created enough textiles and we need to enter a period where all textile production stops so that we can sort through and breathe new life into what we already have an abundance of. there's so much creative possibility in upcycling! all that to say, there is a special place in my heart for designers who reuse what is already in circulation in beautiful new ways.
